Description
Platecraft Addons brings 76 widgets, a Theme Builder and 57 dynamic tags to the free version of Elementor. Build a whole site – header, footer, blog, shop, cart and checkout – with full design control and without Elementor Pro. Made with restaurants, cafés and shops in mind, and just as useful for any business, blog or portfolio.
Why Platecraft
- No Pro needed – every widget, the Theme Builder and the dynamic tags work with free Elementor.
- Style every part – typography, colors, spacing, borders, shadows and hover states, separately for desktop, tablet and mobile.
- Light and self-contained – no chart, slider or animation libraries from other sites. A widget’s small CSS and JS files load only on pages that use it, and widgets you switch off are not loaded at all.
- Made for WooCommerce – product, shop, cart, checkout and account pages use WooCommerce’s own forms, so payment and shipping plugins keep working.
- Easy to find – all widgets sit together under “Platecraft”, right after Elementor’s Basic widgets, each with a small Platecraft mark.
Widgets
Basic
- Advanced Heading – highlighted words with a gradient, image or outline and a hand-drawn underline, circle or strike that draws itself in; or a heading built from parts, each in its own font and color; a small line above and a big faded word behind.
- Dual Color Heading – two parts, each with its own color, gradient or outline.
- Creative Button – 15 hover backgrounds, 13 text animations (letters that roll up one by one too), attention effects, a spinning gradient border, click ripple and magnetic pull.
- Icon Box and Icon List – icons, images or numbers with fill, light, 3D tilt or shine on hover; lists in columns or a row.
- Accordion / FAQ – questions that open and close, with FAQ data for search engines.
- Counter and Progress Bars – numbers that count up, bars and circles that fill when they come into view.
Creative
- Marquee – an endless band of text, logos, image cards (a team, dishes, projects) or saved templates that speeds up while the page scrolls.
- Animated Border Box – a spinning, beaming or flowing gradient border around any content.
- Countdown – to a date, to a time every day, an evergreen timer or the end of a product’s sale.
- Flip Box – a card that turns, slides, pushes, fades or zooms to its back (12 effects) on hover, a tap or keyboard focus.
- Offer Banner, Rotating Text Badge and Image Grid (mosaic or masonry photos with a lightbox).
Showcase
- Content Slider – big slides with a title, text and buttons, or any saved template; fade, zoom, parallax, cube or flip, with a slow zoom on the picture and content that animates in.
- Chart – column, bar, line, area, pie and doughnut charts drawn by the page itself, with a legend and values on hover.
- Image Comparison – before and after pictures with a handle to drag (or that follows the mouse), side by side or up and down.
- Hotspots – points on a picture (icon, word or number, placed per screen size) that open a card with text and a link.
- Testimonial Slider (six designs), Team, Logo Grid and a Timeline that fills as the page scrolls.
General
- Contact Form – any fields in any widths. Every message is emailed to you and kept under Platecraft Inbox – who sent it, from which page and when – with replies by email, notes, CSV export and spam protection that needs no outside service.
- Popup – opens on a click, after some seconds, on scrolling or when leaving; designed with Elementor.
- Social Icons – 36 networks in brand colors, brand gradients or your own colors and gradients, with hover effects and tooltips.
- Data Table – typed cell by cell (icons, pictures, links, cells spanning rows or columns) or pasted from a spreadsheet; sorting, a search box and one card per row on phones.
- Breadcrumb (with structured data), Search Form (a box or full screen) and Share Buttons.
Shop (WooCommerce)
- Product Grid and Category Grid – grids or carousels with tabs, AJAX add to cart and pagination.
- Mini Cart – a side panel or dropdown with a “free delivery from …” progress bar.
- Cart, Checkout and My Account – WooCommerce’s own pages in a new layout: totals beside the products, − / + buttons, a cart that updates by itself, an account menu with icons and your own words.
- Products Toolbar and a WhatsApp Order Button that writes the product name, price and link into the message.
Product page
- Product Title, Price, Add to Cart (variations and − / + buttons), Rating, Stock, Meta, Description (with “Read more”), Short Description, Tabs, Badges and a Product Gallery with thumbnails, swipe and lightbox.
Blog and archive
- Posts – a grid, masonry, list or carousel with a drag-and-drop card layout, filter tabs and pagination.
- Table of Contents – the page’s headings as nested or numbered links that mark the part being read; it folds and can stay on screen.
- Reading Progress – a bar along the screen’s edge, a ring in a corner or a bar in your sticky header.
- Archive Title, Short Description, Post Meta, Featured Image, Author Box, Post Navigation and Term List.
Site and Theme Builder
- Nav Menu (dropdowns, and a side panel or full-screen menu on phones), Site Logo, Site Title, Copyright (the year updates itself), Post Content and a Back to Top button with a progress ring.
Menus and business
- Pricing Table and Pricing Switch – plans with features, badges and buttons, and a Monthly / Yearly switch (switch, sliding pill, buttons or underline) that changes their prices.
- Price Calculator – questions with priced choices add up to a live estimate (a range, a total or “From”), with a summary and a button; a Contact Form field sends the estimate with the message.
- Food Menu and Tabbed List – price lists with dotted lines, diet tags, sizes, old prices and photos.
- Hover Image Menu, Field List and Product Details – options, extras, ingredients and allergens from a built-in product tab, from ACF / Secure Custom Fields or typed in.
- Opening Hours, Open Status (“Open now / Closed”, right on cached pages too) and a Reservation Form whose times follow your opening hours; bookings are kept under Platecraft Inbox Bookings.
Loop Animation
Any widget, container, section or column can keep moving: 20 looping animations – bounce, float, sway, drift, orbit, hop, spin, spin-and-rest, swing, rock, wave, coin flip, wobble, pulse, heartbeat, jelly, tada, shake, ring, blink – or keyframes you write yourself. Set the speed, delay, distance, angle or size, easing, direction and turning point; play it all the time, while it is on screen or only on hover; pause it on hover, stop it on phones, or move only the pictures and icons. It works together with Elementor’s Entrance Animation and Transform, is pure CSS, and loads only on pages that use it. Find it under Advanced Loop Animation.
Glass
Turn any widget, container, section or column into frosted glass (Advanced tab): a see-through panel that blurs what is behind it, with light on its edge – like Figma’s Glass effect. Start from a look (Figma glass, Clear, Frosted, Dark glass), then set the tint, frost, where the light comes from and how strong it is, the depth, a faint rainbow on the edges and the shadow below. It can be turned off on phones.
Sticky
Keep any widget, container or section on screen while the page scrolls (Advanced tab): at the top or the bottom, over the whole page (a header, a “Book a table” bar) or only inside its own column or container (a sidebar, a table of contents). Choose the devices and the distance from the edge (the WordPress toolbar of logged-in users is counted), let a header slide away while visitors scroll down and come back when they scroll up, and give it its own background and shadow while it is stuck – also only after a chosen scroll distance, for a see-through header that turns solid.
Theme Builder
Design the header, footer, single post or page, archive, search results, 404 page, product, shop, cart, checkout and My Account page with Elementor, then choose where each one shows – the entire site, some pages, a category, an author – with exceptions and a priority. Sticky and transparent headers. Works with any theme, classic or block. While you design, pick the post, product or category the template shows under ⚙ Settings Preview.
Dynamic Tags
57 dynamic tags for any Elementor field with the stack icon, with or without Elementor Pro: post, archive, site, author, visitor, comments, custom fields and ACF, links (call, email, WhatsApp, maps, log in / out), WooCommerce (price, sale badge, stock, rating, live cart count …) and Platecraft (open a popup, opening hours of a day). Text tags have Before, After and Fallback. Switch groups off under Platecraft Widgets Dynamic Tags.

FAQ
-
Do I need Elementor Pro?
-
No. All widgets, the Theme Builder and the dynamic tags work with the free version of Elementor. With Elementor Pro the plugin’s tag groups are marked “(Platecraft)”, and you can switch off the ones Pro already has under Platecraft Widgets Dynamic Tags.
-
Do I need WooCommerce?
-
No. The shop widgets appear when WooCommerce is active. Without it, use the Custom source in the Hover Image Menu, the ACF / SCF or Manual source in Product Details, and “None” or a post ID in the WhatsApp button.
-
Where do contact form messages go?
-
Each message sent with a Contact Form is kept under Platecraft Inbox (unless you switch “Keep Messages in WordPress” off) with the sender’s details, the form name, the page, the time and – if the form keeps it – the IP address and browser. Opening one marks it as read; you can reply by email, add a note, filter by form and export CSV. It is also emailed to the addresses set in the widget, with the sender as Reply-To. WordPress sends the email; for dependable delivery, use an SMTP plugin. Messages hold personal data: a suggested privacy text is added under Settings Privacy, and Tools Export / Erase Personal Data include them.
-
Where do reservation bookings go?
-
They are kept in WordPress under Platecraft Inbox Bookings (unless you switch “Save Bookings in WordPress” off), with the guest’s details, a status (new, confirmed, cancelled) you can change, a private note, filters by booking date, search and a CSV export. They can also be sent to the email addresses set in the widget (or the site admin email), with the guest’s email as Reply-To, and / or to a WhatsApp chat: the visitor’s WhatsApp opens with the booking written in, ready to send to your number. Bookings hold personal data: the plugin adds a suggested text to Settings Privacy, and Tools Export / Erase Personal Data include them.
-
Where do I add options, extras and ingredients for a product?
-
Edit the product and open Product data Menu Details. Add rows, drag them to reorder and update the product. Then add the Product Details widget to your single product template (Data Source: Product Menu Details tab).
-
I already use ACF / Secure Custom Fields for this.
-
Choose the “Custom fields (ACF / SCF)” data source in the Product Details widget, open “Sections (custom fields)” and pick each field you want to show from the list – any field names work. Or use the Field List widget, one field per widget. Repeater sub-fields are detected automatically; you can also pick them by hand.
-
Do I need a custom fields plugin?
-
No. The built-in Menu Details product tab and the Manual source work without one. For your own fields install the free Secure Custom Fields plugin (it includes the Repeater field) and click “Create the field group for me” under Platecraft Settings Product Details.
-
How do I change the WhatsApp message?
-
Go to Platecraft Settings WhatsApp and edit the message. Use
{name},{price},{url},{page}and{site}. A line whose placeholder has no value (for example a product without a price) is left out. You can also enter a different message in a single button. -
Can I turn off widgets I do not use?
-
Yes. Under Platecraft Widgets, switch off any widget or a whole group. Switched-off widgets leave the Elementor panel and their files are not loaded.
-
Is anything deleted when I remove the plugin?
-
No – since 1.1.2 deleting the plugin keeps everything: Theme Builder templates, popups, contact form messages, bookings and settings stay in the database, and installing Platecraft again brings them back. To remove it all when the plugin is deleted, choose “Delete all Platecraft data” under Platecraft Settings Uninstall first. Menu details saved on products are always kept.

Changelog
1.1.2
- Fix: deleting the plugin on the Plugins screen no longer deletes your Theme Builder templates, popups, contact form messages, bookings and settings – they stay, and come back when Platecraft is installed again. Up to 1.1.1 they were deleted for good.
- New: Platecraft Settings Uninstall – choose “Delete all Platecraft data” there if deleting the plugin should remove it all (off by default).
- Fix: “Hide while scrolling down” (Theme Builder sticky header, and the Sticky section of the Advanced tab) did nothing when the header’s own box had no height – e.g. its section pulled over the page with a negative margin. It now moves up as far as what the header shows; small scroll moves (trackpads) no longer make it flicker.
- Fix: Nav Menu inside a box with Glass, a transform or hidden overflow (e.g. a glass header): the side panel and full-screen menu were held inside the box (a small strip in the header bar) – they now cover the screen; the menu that opens below the button is no longer cut off or hidden under the content that follows. The box looks as before once the menu is closed.
- Fix: Nav Menu – “As Wide as the Screen” was as wide as the screen plus its scrollbar, so the page could scroll sideways; a closed side panel held inside such a box, and a closed submenu near the right edge, also widened the page.
- Change: Nav Menu – the menu item Color now says that the mobile menu uses it too, unless Mobile Menu Items Color is set (white menu text on the white mobile panel).
- New: Theme Builder – “View on site” on every template card opens a page where the template shows (a project for a Single Project template, the home page for an Entire Site footer …) in a new tab. The “Where it shows” button now has a location pin instead of an eye.
1.1.1
- New: Sticky – a section in the Advanced tab of every widget, container and section (Elementor’s own too): stays on screen at the top or the bottom, over the whole page or inside its own column / container, per device, with a distance from the edge, “Hide While Scrolling Down” for headers, and its own background and shadow while stuck (after a chosen scroll distance). Only pages with a sticky element load its small script.
- New: Marquee – Image Cards: a “Custom height” image shape with its own Image Height (the width is the Card Width).
- New: Marquee – Image Cards: Space Between Title and Subtitle, and the Text Area as a box of its own (padding, background, border, corners, shadows, hover look).
- New: Marquee – a border for the pictures of image items and image cards (Style Images, Style Image Cards), with its own hover color.
- Change: Testimonial Slider – Photo “Height” now sets the height of the photo wherever it sits (beside the text it was only a minimum, so small values did nothing; empty, it is still as tall as the card). “Width” and “Height” show only for the Classic design, where they apply.
- Change: clearer labels for the photo width beside the text (Testimonial Slider, Food Menu).
- New: Testimonial Slider – card Normal / Hover / Active tabs (background, border color, box shadows; Move Up on hover); the active card is the one in front.
- New: Testimonial Slider – Gradient Border for the cards, set on its own in the Normal, Hover and Active tabs: linear (with an angle) or radial (with a center), up to three colors and a width. It takes the place of the card border.
- New: Testimonial Slider – the author’s avatar can have its own Width and Height (Avatar Size still sets both), the floating avatar too, a sharper picture file (Image Resolution), and Box Shadows for the avatar and the photo.
- New: Testimonial Slider – Style Text Area: background, padding, border, corners and shadows for the quote and author part.
- New: Testimonial Slider – the arrows (Normal and Hover), the speech bubble, the dots, the progress bar and the autoplay timer bar take a Background Type like Elementor’s: a color or a gradient. Colors set in 1.1.0 stay as they were.
- Fix: Testimonial Slider – a Hover or Active card background color now shows over a Normal gradient.
- New: Icon List – Columns can be “All in one line”: the items sit side by side, each as wide as its own text, with the same space between them (set per device, e.g. one line on computers and 1 column on phones).
- New: Posts – card elements can show custom fields from SCF / ACF, picked by name and shown by their type: an image as a picture, a link as a link, a choice by its label, Yes / No in your words. With Text After (e.g. %). Case studies, team cards or any post type with its own fields, without Elementor Pro. The Post Meta widget gets the same field picker.
- New: Posts – every card element has Content / Place / Style tabs: its own typography, color, background (color or gradient), padding, margin, border, corners and shadow – and color, background, border color and shadow while the card is hovered – plus “Start a New Row” and “Up / Down in Its Row” to set elements side by side.
- New: Posts – a Featured Image element, to put the picture anywhere among the text.
- New: Posts – columns in the card’s text area: put elements in column 1, 2 or 3 and they stack under each other in their column (title and text left, a number and the button right). Each column’s width (the rest, as wide as its content, 25–75% or a custom width), the space between them, where the free space goes (start, center, end, space between / around / evenly), up / down, and side by side or one under the other per device (one under the other, every column is full width). “Stick to the Bottom” puts an element at the foot of its column. Elements can have a custom width too.
- New: Field List – Badge Position for cards: the third text of a card (a price, a date, a step) above, right of or below the text.
- New: Field List and Product Details cards – Border Width per side (e.g. a colored line on the left only), Space Inside the Card, a card Box Shadow, Badge Look (pill or plain text, e.g. a small label above the name) with its own padding and corners, and Card Colors: a color for each card in turn – card 1 color 1, card 2 color 2 … – for the border, the background, the badge or the name.
- New: Field List – Columns can be Custom, per device: any number of equal columns, or a width for each column (2fr 1fr 1fr, 200px 1fr, or as many as fit at a minimum width). “Default” now says it means 2 columns.
- Fix: Field List and Product Details cards – “Space Between Name and Note” did nothing in cards. The space between cards (“Space Between Cards”, was “Gap”) now goes up to 80 px.
- Fix: Posts – “Leave out the current post” also leaves out the previewed post while a Theme Builder template is being designed.
- Fix: Posts and Product Grid – in the Elementor editor, clicking a filter tab, a page number or Load More after changing a setting replaced the preview with “0”. In the editor a tab now only shows as chosen (to style it) and page links stay put; on the site nothing changes.
- Fix: dynamic tags – a widget using an SCF / ACF field tag (e.g. in a Testimonial Slider item) showed an empty panel when you opened it again in the editor. The tag now also shows the chosen field’s name.
- Fix: admin switches (Theme Builder header options and template on / off, Widgets, Dynamic Tags) only answered a click on their left part – WordPress’s own checkbox size shrank the clickable area. The whole switch works now.
- Change: filter tabs set to “Scroll sideways” (Posts, Tabbed List, Product Grid) show no scrollbar any more – swipe, trackpad or the mouse wheel move them. The default stays “Wrap to a new line”.
- Change: faster editor panel – Color / Gradient backgrounds no longer carry Elementor’s hidden image, video and slideshow settings, so the Posts element list (and other panels) open about twice as fast.
- New: Timeline – the line and its filled part take a color or a gradient, with a Soft Fill Edge so the filled color blends into the line as the page scrolls; Line Style (solid, dashed, dotted); how far the line runs above the first and below the last dot (e.g. from dot to dot).
- New: Timeline – Space Between Line and Card, the dots’ distance from the top, corner radius, and a Normal / Reached look for the dots (color or gradient, size, icon color and size, ring color, box shadows); Ring Width, a Ring Gap with its own color, and a ring on reached dots only.
- New: Timeline – Highlight a Step: the step being read (follows the scroll) or steps you choose, with its own card background, border color and shadows and its own date color and background. Also card Margin, Image Fit and Image Position, and a date background in color or gradient. Colors set in 1.1.0 stay as they were.
- New: Timeline – every step has a Style tab of its own (use it or not): card background (color or gradient), border, corners and shadow, and date, title and text colors – only for that step, also while it is highlighted. The image at the top of a card now follows the card’s corners.
- Fix: Box Shadows set for the Timeline card, the Accordion items, the Counter box, the Flip Box button and the Product Description box and “Read more” button did not show (the Timeline card kept its own shadow even when set to 0). An empty Timeline list still gives the card its soft shadow; the panel says how to remove it.
1.1.0
- New: Glass – a section in the Advanced tab of every widget, container, section and column (Elementor’s own too): frosted, see-through glass with light on its edge, like Figma’s Glass. Looks (Figma glass, Clear, Frosted, Dark glass), tint, frost, light direction and strength, depth, dispersion, shadow; can be turned off on phones.
- New: Marquee – an “Image card” item: a picture with a title and a subtitle (a team, dishes, projects), styled under Style Image Cards (width, shape, corners, filters and zoom on hover, text).
- Fix: Marquee – the Height of image items did nothing on Elementor pages (Elementor’s own image rule was stronger).
- New: Team – a Marquee layout next to Grid and Carousel: the cards move in an endless band (card width, direction, speed, stop or slow under the mouse, faster while scrolling, fading edges).
- Fix: Team and Logo Grid – in the Elementor editor the carousel showed one card per row after a change (it was not started again).
- Fix: carousels (Team, Logo Grid, Category Grid, Product Grid, Posts) – changing Columns or Gap in the editor now redraws the carousel at once, and on the site tablets and phones use their own Columns instead of the desktop number.
- New: Team – the photo can have its own Width and Height (Style Photo); a narrower photo sits in the middle of the card.
- New: Price Calculator widget – questions with priced choices (as buttons, a list with circles and boxes, or dropdowns) add up to a live estimate: a range, a total or “From”, rounded as you like, in any currency. A summary of the choices and a button beside it (with the Creative Button’s hover animations, all off until you pick one); every part can be styled.
- New: Contact Form – a “Price calculator” field shows the estimate (or the choices) of a calculator on the page and sends it with the message. The server works the estimate out again from the saved prices, so a changed field cannot change what you receive.
- New: Contact Form – the send button can have the Creative Button’s hover animations (background, text, icon, always moving, ripple, magnetic, gradient border – all off until you pick one), and a Space Above setting.
- New: Accordion / FAQ – the question’s padding can be different on hover and while open (like Elementor’s accordion), and the answer has a Margin setting. “Opening Takes” now shows its default (350 ms) and explains the number – a very small value makes opening look instant.
- Fix: Accordion / FAQ – with themes that keep button text on one line (like Hello Elementor) a long question ran off the box on phones and hid the open / close icon; it now wraps onto more lines.
- New: Rotating Text Badge – “Spread Around the Whole Circle” (on as before) can be turned off, so the text keeps the Letter Spacing you set; Repeat or Text Size close the circle. Its turning speed is now called “Spin Speed” and shows its default (14 seconds a turn).
- Fix: Creative Button – an Icon Size in em made SVG icons bigger than set.
- Change: size settings that offered only px (gaps, icon and field sizes, heights …) now also offer em and rem – widths also % and vw, heights vh – in every widget. Saved values stay as they are.
- Fix: Hotspots – with the card’s distance in em or rem the card could open on a side where it did not fit.
- Fix: Loop Animation – with Elementor’s “Optimized Markup” feature on, its settings were added to a widget twice, which wrote “Cannot redeclare control” notices into the debug log. Pages looked and worked the same.
- Fix: Creative Button – Box Shadows set in the Normal tab only showed on hover. Elementor’s own link style removed them; the shadows now show all the time, also with the “Glow” and “Press” hover backgrounds.
- Fix: Rotating Text Badge – with a link, its Box Shadows did not show (same cause).
- Fix: Creative Button – in a narrower widget or column (for example a copied button with a longer text) the text and its left and right padding were cut off. The button now always fits its text.
- Fix: a smaller Line Height in Typography had no effect when the page or a parent gave a taller one – Icon List text, Archive Title, Product Title and Site Title. The Archive Title prefix and count now follow the title’s font size unless they have their own.
- Fix: Site Title – “Space Below” had no effect.
- Fix: Paste Style and Reset Style – after pasting or resetting the style of a Platecraft widget that has Box Shadows, the editor panel stayed empty. The panel now works, and the Box Shadows are pasted or reset too.
1.0.5
- Fix: Elementor’s newer Export / Import Kit (Elementor 3.30+ and 4.x) now takes the plugin’s things along, like the older one already did: Theme Builder templates keep their type (header, footer, single …), places, priority and on / off switch, popups keep their settings, and opening hours, WhatsApp, the widgets that are off and the dynamic tags that are off come with Site Settings. Kits exported before this version do not contain them – export the kit again.
- New: Opening Hours – a Copy button on every day copies its hours to the days you tick (all days, weekdays or the weekend in one click).
- Fix: Hover Image Menu – with a taller active box (Box Padding Top / Bottom) the image no longer jumps up and down when the mouse moves from one list to the other.
- Fix: with Elementor on WordPress 7 the icons on the blue buttons of the Theme Builder (Add New Template, Edit with Elementor) were invisible.
- Fix: the tabs at the top of the Platecraft pages no longer keep a box around them after a click (the keyboard still shows it).
- Change: Dual Color Heading – the second part now uses the first part’s font, size and weight; its own Typography changes only what should differ.
- Change: “Color” everywhere instead of “Colour” (American English, as in Elementor and WordPress). Only the words changed – saved designs stay as they are.
- Fix: Dual Color Heading – “Side by side” now reads like one sentence: the second part goes on right after the first, also when the first part runs over two lines. The old way (each part kept whole) is the new option “Side by side, each part whole”.
- Fix: Creative Button – “Circle from the mouse” now grows from where the mouse comes in; it used to start from where the mouse had left the button the time before.
- New: Creative Button – “Letters roll up” and “Letters roll down” hover text: letter by letter (or word by word, for Bangla and other joined scripts), with the delay between them; the letters leave in the text color and come back in the hover color.
- Change: a tidier Platecraft menu – Widgets, Theme Builder, Popups, Inbox and Settings. Inbox holds the contact form messages and the bookings (with the number of new ones); Settings holds Opening Hours, WhatsApp, Product Details and Version Control; Dynamic Tags is a tab of Widgets. The pages keep their addresses, and each group shows its pages as tabs at the top. On Widgets and Dynamic Tags the row of group buttons is now one list next to the search.
- Fix: on phones the Platecraft bar at the top of its pages was half hidden behind the WordPress toolbar.
1.0.4
- New: Loop Animation for every widget, container, section and column (Advanced tab) – 20 animations or your own keyframes; plays all the time, on screen or on hover.
- New: 9 widgets – Pricing Table and Pricing Switch (Monthly / Yearly), Flip Box, Image Comparison, Hotspots, Data Table, Table of Contents, Reading Progress and Back to Top.
- New: Version Control (Platecraft Version Control) – go back to an earlier release from WordPress.org if an update causes a problem, the way Elementor’s Rollback works. Designs and settings stay.
- New: after a week of use, a small note asks administrators for a review on WordPress.org (with “Maybe later” and “I already did”).
- Security: the post picker in the editor lists drafts, private and scheduled posts only to people who may edit them.
- Security: a custom-field dynamic tag no longer shows another person’s WooCommerce billing or shipping details (a visitor still sees their own).
- Security: the contact form’s “sent too fast” check also catches robots that leave out its time field.
- New: Advanced Heading – two Shared Styles for the parts. Style a look once (font, color or gradient, box) and choose it in every part that should have it; a part’s Own Style still goes on top.
1.0.3
- Fix: with Elementor’s Export / Import Kit, Theme Builder templates now keep their type, places, priority and on / off switch (they came in as plain Sections). Opening hours, WhatsApp settings, the widgets that are off and the dynamic tags that are off travel with the kit’s Site Settings. Export the kit again with this version.
- New: Advanced Heading can be built from parts – as many as you like, each with its own font, color, gradient, outline or picture fill and box. New lines go between parts, and the shape goes under the parts you choose (e.g. “We Make Digital Products” with one word in a serif italic).
1.0.2
- New: Icon List – Opacity for the text and for the small line below it.
- Fix: a color picked for softer text now shows exactly as chosen; before, it showed lighter. This was in Icon List’s small line, post meta, author box, term list, chart labels, counter label, old prices, product tabs, cart and checkout headings and more.
1.0.1
- New: Social Icons widget – 36 networks, ten looks (brand colors, brand gradients, outlines, icons only and more), your own colors or gradients for the icon, text, background and border (normal and hover), hover effects, tooltips, and icons that come in one by one.
- New: Product Description widget – the product’s full description, with an optional title and a “Read more” button for long texts.
- New: Theme Builder conditions – Shop Page, product category and tag archives and single products are now in the WooCommerce group, so the shop and each kind of product archive can have its own template.
- Fix: Theme Builder content templates (single product, shop, blog post, archive …) now use the full width of the screen; with some themes, like Hello Elementor, they were held in a narrow column.
- Fix: widgets in Theme Builder headers and footers no longer show unstyled for a moment while the page loads.
- Fix: inside Theme Builder templates and popups, wave and zigzag tab lines (Product Grid, tabs) and custom box shadows now show on the site as in the editor (WordPress’s HTML filter removed them).
- Fix: Icon List – Alignment now also works in the Columns layout, and the Lines section always shows its switch (with new Line Length and Space Above the Line settings).
- Fix: Progress Bars – the “Filling Takes” time now also applies to the numbers that count up on the site.
- New: Nav Menu lines between items (mobile menu and dropdowns) can be solid, dashed, dotted or switched off, with their own thickness, color and room at the ends.
- Fix: in the editor, the Nav Menu now shows a new “Show the Menu Button On” choice straight away (before, it showed only after another setting was changed).
- Fix: the Nav Menu side panel and full screen menu now start at the very top of the screen; in the editor they left a gap above.
- Fix: in the editor preview, sticky and transparent Theme Builder headers no longer leave room for an admin bar that is not there.
1.0.0
