Your store looks after every detail of a purchase. The documents customers receive are also part of that experience. DACAR Digital Facturas Bonitas turns WooCommerce orders into simplified invoices and courtesy PDF documents that are generated and stored locally in WordPress.
WooCommerce remains the source of customers, products, amounts, and taxes. Facturas Bonitas uses that information to compose the document; it does not recalculate or invent order data.
Useful documents inside your store
- Generate simplified invoices from WooCommerce orders.
- Optionally enable a separate line of non-fiscal courtesy documents that do not replace an invoice.
- Use an included local template with a text logo, left or centre alignment, two included backgrounds, and an optional text watermark.
- Check the result in a preview, then view, download, or print the PDF.
- Attach the document to the applicable WooCommerce email.
- Give customers access from My Account and authorised administrators access through a document list.
Local generation and privacy
PDFs and their references are generated and kept locally with the order in your WordPress installation. The Free edition does not send orders or their documents to DACAR Digital to create the PDF.
Personal data used by the plugin belongs to the WooCommerce order and follows WooCommerce privacy and retention tools. Facturas Bonitas adds suggested privacy-policy text for the store owner to review and adapt; it does not publish or change the site’s policy automatically.
WooCommerce and tax responsibility
Facturas Bonitas represents the data supplied by WooCommerce. The store owner must review the configuration, the accuracy of that data, and the tax and legal obligations that apply in the store’s jurisdiction. Installing the plugin does not by itself guarantee compliance.
Requirements
- WordPress 6.0 or later.
- An active, compatible version of WooCommerce.
- PHP 7.4 or later with the DOM and mbstring extensions.
Usage
- Enter the issuer information under General settings.
- Review the fixed simplified-invoice line.
- Optionally enable the non-fiscal courtesy-document line.
- Configure the available visual settings and check the preview.
- Complete a WooCommerce order to create the applicable local PDF.
- View, download, or print the document from Facturas Bonitas or My Account.
Installation
- Install and activate WooCommerce.
- Install Facturas Bonitas from WordPress, or upload its ZIP from Plugins > Add New Plugin.
- Activate Facturas Bonitas.
- Open Facturas Bonitas in the administration menu.
- Complete the issuer details and review the document and design settings available in Free.

What is the difference between a simplified invoice and a courtesy document?

The simplified invoice is the main document line in Free. The courtesy document is optional and non-fiscal: it can serve as a purchase receipt, but it does not replace an invoice.

Does Facturas Bonitas change order amounts or taxes?

No. It reads the lines, amounts, and taxes calculated by WooCommerce and represents them in the document.

Where are PDFs stored?

PDFs and their references are stored locally and linked to the corresponding WooCommerce order.

Is order data sent to DACAR Digital?

Not to generate Free documents. The PDF is created locally in the WordPress installation.

How can a document be viewed, downloaded, or printed?

Authorised users can access documents from the Facturas Bonitas list. When applicable, customers can also find their document in My Account. The viewer opens the PDF, and the file can be downloaded or printed.

What happens when the plugin is uninstalled?

Technical tasks are cleared. Documents, numbering, order references, and settings are retained to prevent accidental loss of business records.

Does installing the plugin guarantee tax compliance?

No. The validity of a document depends on its data, configuration, and the obligations that apply to the store in its jurisdiction.
