eraser.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>A faster first setup<\/h4>\n\n<p>Version 1.8 introduces a guided dashboard that takes a new user through three useful steps:<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n<li>Add a student.<\/li>\n<li>Schedule a lesson.<\/li>\n<li>Preview the student portal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>You can also create an optional <strong>sample workspace<\/strong> with fictional students, lessons and materials. Sample content is marked separately and can be removed with one click without touching your own data.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Student portal<\/h4>\n\n<p>The portal page is created automatically during activation. A student can enter through a magic link or use their email address and PIN. Open or create a lesson and use the <strong>Repeat lesson<\/strong> box to create weekly, every-two-weeks or monthly copies. Matching duplicate dates for the same student are skipped.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20i%20change%20an%20entire%20recurring%20series%20later%3F\"><h3>Can I change an entire recurring series later?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Not yet. The recurring tool creates independent lesson copies. Each generated lesson can then be edited separately.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"how%20does%20a%20student%20open%20the%20portal%3F\"><h3>How does a student open the portal?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Open the student profile and use the <strong>Student Portal access<\/strong> box. You can generate a time-limited magic link or set a PIN. Students do not need WordPress accounts.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"is%20the%20sample%20workspace%20safe%20to%20remove%3F\"><h3>Is the sample workspace safe to remove?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. Every sample student, lesson and material is marked with dedicated metadata. The remove action deletes only marked sample content and leaves your own records untouched.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20i%20translate%20the%20interface%3F\"><h3>Can I translate the interface?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. Version 1.8 no longer forces WordPress core labels to remain in English.
