This plugin lets you integrate Costa Rica electronic invoicing with WooCommerce, connecting your online store with the Costa Rican tax authority (Ministerio de Hacienda).<\/p>\n\n

It connects to the Facturador Virtual API, which automatically generates an electronic invoice for every purchase made in your online store.<\/p>\n\n\n

What do I need to start using the plugin?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

Just follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n

  1. Create a Facturador Virtual account (if you already have one, you can sign in with it, no need to create a new one): website<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Purchase the Integration Plan that best fits your needs: Our Plans<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Go to your account profile: My Profile<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Copy the API Token and Access Token values.<\/li>\n
  5. Paste those values into the plugin's Configuration fields.<\/li>\n
  6. Select the economic activity you want to invoice with.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/dd>\n

    Do I need to configure anything in WooCommerce?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

    Yes, you need to make the following adjustments so your invoices reflect taxes correctly, as required by electronic invoicing.<\/p>\n\n

    To calculate the VAT of products\/services correctly on invoices:<\/p>\n\n

      \n

    1. In WooCommerce Settings > \"Tax\" tab > \"Prices entered with tax\" select \"No, I will enter prices exclusive of tax\".<\/p><\/li>\n

    2. If you want the store to show the final price to the customer including VAT: go to WooCommerce Settings > \"Tax\" tab and, for both \"Display prices in the shop\" and \"Display prices during cart and checkout\", select \"Including tax\".<\/p><\/li>\n

    3. Enter the price without VAT for each of your products.<\/p><\/li>\n

    4. Enter the CAByS code for each of your products.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

      To calculate the VAT of shipping correctly on invoices:<\/p>\n\n

      1. In WooCommerce Settings > \"Shipping\" tab > create or edit your flat-rate zone > enter the shipping price without VAT.<\/p><\/li>\n

      2. In WooCommerce Settings > \"Tax\" tab > \"Shipping tax class\" select the VAT that applies (for example iva-tarifa-general-13).<\/p><\/li>\n

      3. In WooCommerce Settings > \"Tax\" tab > select at the top the tax you will apply to shipping (for example iva-tarifa-general-13) > \"Tax rates\" > on the tax row check the \"Shipping\" box.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ol><\/dd>\n
