Even lightweight models can navigate it without embeddings or a vector database. #### What makes RAG Sitemap different * **Long-term running cost can be $0.** The plugin adds no fee. Gemini Flash Lite’s free API quota can handle roughly 50 to 100 replies per day. * **No vector database.** It uses your titles and categories as the retrieval path, without embeddings or a second index. * **Built for organized sites.** As a site grows, its hierarchy gives each step clearer boundaries instead of a larger similarity pool. Credentials are stored in WordPress and encrypted with AES-256-CBC when PHP OpenSSL is available. Conversation content remains in browser local storage until cleared. A session ID and active queue waiter remain in session storage until the browser session ends. The visitor IP is used locally only for rate limiting. A site-salted fingerprint is stored in a WordPress transient for 60 seconds; the raw IP is not stored there. Neither value is logged or sent to the developer or third parties. In **Quick Start > RAG Sitemap**, keep or adjust default sources, then click ** Save Settings and Generate Sitemap**. 3. In **API & Routing**, add a provider, model, and credentials; select the Default API Profile. 4. Save Quick Start, test in **Dashboard > Playground**, then customize and enable the floating button. ## FAQ ### Does Free require Premium or include AI credits? No add-on is required; provider credits are not included. 401 usually means invalid credentials or endpoint. 429 means rate, quota, or billing limits; Retry cannot bypass them. ### What content and language does Free map? Published, public, non-password-protected Pages and Posts are selected by default. Adjust sources if needed; regenerate after content changes. ### Is a RAG Sitemap one flat map or a keyword index? No. One click turns existing WordPress content and categories into a multi-step hierarchy. AI follows only choices listed in each layer until it reaches source content, so the route stays narrow as the site grows. No keyword matching, embeddings, vector database, or GraphRAG indexing pipeline is needed. ### Why is the chatbot missing on the front end?
