Upload the `ninja-media` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress Plugins screen directly. 2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress. 3. Go to **Ninja Media > File Manager** in the admin sidebar to start organizing your files. 4. Configure SVG support, upload limits, and other options under **Ninja Media > Settings**. ## FAQ ### Will activating the plugin affect my existing media files? No. Activating the plugin does not move, rename, or alter any existing files. It adds an organizational layer on top of your existing media library. ### Does it work with media that is already uploaded? Yes. All existing attachments appear in the Uncategorized view immediately after activation. You can move them into folders at any time. ### Is SVG upload safe? The plugin includes built-in SVG sanitization that strips potentially dangerous markup (scripts, external references, event handlers) before saving the file. Sanitization is on by default. ### What happens to my data if I deactivate the plugin? Deactivation does not remove any data. Your folders, settings, and media assignments remain intact. Data is only removed if you delete the plugin and have enabled “Delete data on uninstall” in the Tools settings (this option is off by default). ### Is the plugin compatible with Multisite? Yes, Multisite is fully supported. ### Does this plugin work with Elementor, WooCommerce, or other page builders? Yes, this plugin works with Elementor, WooCommerce, and others. ### Can I apply watermarks to images I already uploaded? (Pro) Yes, via the bulk-apply tool in the Watermark settings panel. This is a Pro feature. ### Does the Replace Media feature break existing links? (Pro) No. When you replace an attachment, the plugin preserves the original attachment ID, URL, and all post relationships. Your existing links and embeds continue to work unchanged. ### What watermark font formats are supported? (Pro) TTF, OTF, WOFF, and WOFF2. Several built-in system fonts (Sans Serif, Serif, Monospace, DejaVu Sans) are also available without uploading anything. Custom font upload is a Pro feature. ### Can I restore original images after applying a watermark? (Pro) Yes. The plugin stores a backup of the original file in /uploads/pnpnm-originals/ before applying a watermark. You can restore any image to its original state from the Watermark settings at any time. ### What happens to trashed media? (Pro) Trashed media is soft-deleted — it is hidden from normal views but not permanently removed.
